Comparing Skype to Videophone technology. The proof is in the call. I, like everyone, have used Skype and it was OK until it's replacement was created....The Videophone. Simply better. Better audio, better video, simpler to use, more convenient and most importantly allows me to keep my phone and get rid of the phone company completely.

I guess I don't understand the need for a VideoPhone. I use MagicJack as my main phone system and the original cost is $39.95. $20.00 of that amount is for the first years subscription to use the MagicJack thereafter the YEARLY cost of my entire phone bill is $20.00 per year. All that is needed is access to the Internet. I happen to use RoadRunner so that's costing me $35.00 per month however I also get all my entertainment through the internet. Now if I need to do any "business" meeting type of stuff, I have a Web Cam and I have a FREE account with DimDim that allows me to conference folks in with the web cam and we can share documents, videos, etc via our computer interfaces.
